What is CRSP and how does it work?

The Cabbagetown Reynoldstown Security Patrol (CRSP) was founded by a small group of concerned Cabbagetown residents who wanted to be proactive about fighting crime in our community. CRSP intends to provide an additional police in Cabbagetown and Reynoldstown, helping to make our community safer and to improve the quality of life for everyone.

Membership benefits include access to an off-duty City of Atlanta police officer who serves as CRSP’s Patrol Officer and is authorized to make arrests and respond to emergency calls.

Is CRSP part of CNIA or RCIL?

CRSP is a separate entity from the Cabbagetown Neighborhood Improvement Association (CNIA) and the Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League (RCIL), but the groups are working collaboratively to make our community safer for all residents.

Do CRSP Patrol Officers only patrol CRSP contributor homes while on duty?

No, officers patrol ALL of Cabbagetown/Reynoldstown and its homes & businesses while on duty for CRSP. Everyone in the neighborhood benefits from CRSP's efforts. Officers drive around hot-spots, respond to calls from CRSP contributors, conduct surveillance, and patrol certain areas as requested by contributors.
